Annual salary range: $40,000 - $45,000
What you’ll be doing:
As Advance Assessment Specialist your primary responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing advance applications, verifying accuracy and compliance of the Advance Payment Program within AAFC guidelines.
- Communicating with Farmers, providing instruction on requirements of their advance application via phone, email and in person.
- Documenting all communications with farmers in the internal database. Completing data entry as required.
Your experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent; minimum one (1) year customer service.
- Extensive information processing and data entry experience with demonstrated ability to multitask.
- Ability to accurately create and review records, high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong English oral and written communication skills along with excellent listening skills; ability to communicate in French would be considered an asset.
- Exceptional client service capability, professionalism, good judgement, and ethics when dealing with farmers and representing CCGA’s interests.
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships with peers, external customers, and other key stakeholders.
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency, being able to prioritize work and meet objectives/deadlines through excellent organizational capability.
- Proficiency in math, MS Office, MS Office 365, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word, and digital literacy required.
Preferred:
- Prior experience working in a Contact Centre and/or fast paced financial industry.
- Prior working experience in a loan processor role would be considered an asset.
- Prior working experience with program under Advance Payments Program, compliance with industry rules and regulations would be considered an asset.
- Post-secondary education would be considered an asset.
