CCGA Introduces a New Look to Celebrate 40 Years

Canadian Canola Growers Association (CCGA) is celebrating its 40th year of operation by unveiling a vibrant new look for the national farm organization.

“The work of CCGA has evolved over the past 40 years and our brand is changing to better reflect the CCGA of today – our priorities, our culture and our values,” says Rick White, President & CEO of CCGA.

CCGA’s updated look includes a new logo showcasing a contemporary canola flower, a lively blue colour palette symbolizing the vast blue skies that span Canada’s canola farms, and a maple leaf representing the national perspective of the organization.

“While our look is refreshed, we remain wholly focused on serving farmers,” says White. “Our new brand identity reflects CCGA’s vision and proudly expresses our deep canola roots. It incorporates the supportive culture of CCGA and the purpose-driven inspiration of our employees.”

CCGA was founded by farmers in 1984, to give canola farmers access to cash advances through the Advance Payments Program. Over the years, CCGA’s delivery of cash advances has expanded to over 50 commodities, and now serves thousands of farmers across four provinces. More recently, CCGA has built a dedicated team of agriculture policy development experts who conduct in-depth policy research in key policy areas that are impactful for canola farmers. In addition, CCGA’s government relations team passionately brings the canola farmer perspective to the table when national policy issues that impact farmers are being discussed.

“CCGA continues to be a farmer-led organization that is focused on Helping Farmers Succeed,” says Roger Chevraux, Chair of CCGA and a canola farmer from central Alberta. “Our board is excited about how this updated look will position the organization to continue its work providing farmers with access to working capital, in-depth policy research, and direct engagement with government.”

CCGA begins rolling out its new look today and will continue extending these elements across all communications and programming over the coming months. The organization’s website ccga.ca and customer communications are the first places the new look will be visible.
